The Musée de l’Orangerie houses eight of Monet’s water lily series. Monet himself insisted on sky lights as part of the exhibit, so that his works could be viewed in natural light.
The museum also asks that you view them in quiet, making it a peaceful experience.

One of my favorite things we did in Paris was just One of my favorite things we did in Paris was just sitting on the banks of the Seine watching the Eiffel Tower sparkle! Definitely felt like a scene from a movie.
Did you know the tower only sparkles on the hour every hour after dark? This was the first of the night (10pm) and there was a celebratory feeling around it.
